Magento E-commerce Server Move - shared hosting often not good enough
Magento - shared hosting often not good enough!
Last weekend we had to move a client’s Magento e-commerce shop from a shared hosting package to a better VPS hosting solution as the shared server simply wasn’t coping.
Often there would be “Internal Server Error” messages when trying to login to the Magento admin area and the server was struggling to perform acceptably. This is made even more important by the fact that site speed does matter (Reference: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2010/04/using-site-speed-in-web-search-ranking.html)
